When my boyfriend asked me to marry him, I was the happiest girl in the world. We had only been dating for a couple of months, so a lot of people said we were rushing something that shouldn’t be rushed. We felt differently though. We both knew that we were the one for each other, and we did not want to wait to start the rest of our lives together. He had looked into Star Night limos before he even started planning on how he was going to propose to me, because he told me later that he wanted the night to be perfect.
He could have proposed to me over burgers at the local fast food joint, and I would have been just as excited. I have to admit that the way he did it was very romantic though. I thought we were going to go see a movie and then have dinner with some friends. I dressed nice since we were going out afterwards, and was ready for him to pick me up after I got off work. Instead of his truck though, I found a limo in my driveway when I walked outside.
I had no idea what was going on, because I honestly was not expecting him to propose marriage so soon, even though we both wanted that. When I got in, I was expecting to see several others inside too, since we were all going out after the movie. That is when I found out that it was just the two of us, and we were not going to a movie. Instead, he had picked a picnic dinner consisting of wine, cheese, and peanut butter sandwiches, which is an inside joke. The limo took us to a park, we had our fancy meal, and then he got on one knee and asked me to make his life complete. How can a girl say no to that?
